A Royal Recital

Katelyn had her first dance recital this year where she performed a ballet dance to Beauty and the Beast and a tap dance to Loretta Lynn's Coal Miner's Daughter.  She loved getting all dressed up, getting her hair done, and getting to wear make-up and sparkles.  She definitely felt like a princess for the day.

The girls practicing their dance during rehearsals - this was their very first time on stage!  It was very hard to capture any pictures of them actually dancing due to the lighting.  Hopefully I'll be getting a video soon!

Katelyn made me laugh when we were taking pictures.  She was striking different poses all on her own!  She loved getting all glammed up!

Giddy up cowgirl!

There was a "coronation of princesses" during the finale, so Katelyn felt like a princess with her tiara.  Daddy and Grandma also brought flowers for our little performer.  We were so proud of her!

Grandma drove all the way up to Waco to watch Katelyn dance before driving right back to Austin for work.  Thank you!
